What is a biorefinery?
A biorefinery works on the same principle as a traditional refinery: it turns a single raw material into as many valuable products as possible.
Here, sustainably grown corn doesn’t just become bioethanol. Processing also yields proteins, feed ingredients, biomethane, organic soil improver and many other valuable products.

Our Dunaföldvár plant is about a 50-minute drive from the southern edge of Budapest.
Many visitors are surprised by the site’s size, technological complexity and level of innovation. Most don’t expect to find a biorefinery of this scale and technological standard in Hungary.
Who is it for?
Primarily students studying in one of the following fields:
