We would like to inform you about the biogas digestate leak that occurred on May 12 and the steps we are taking to address the situation. We fully accept responsibility for the unpleasant odor caused by the leak and understand the inconvenience it may have caused in your daily lives.
Upon detecting the leak, we took immediate action: we sealed its source and have been continuously cleaning the affected area ever since. The digestate—derived from corn fiber and used as an organic soil enhancer—poses no danger to human health or the environment. However, we acknowledge that the strong odor is disturbing and may still be noticeable in the area.
We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult situation, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Our team is working tirelessly to eliminate the source of the odor. A significant portion of the leaked material has already been collected and transferred to designated storage facilities.
The cleanup work is expected to be completed within two weeks. Our goal is to restore the usual state of the surroundings as soon as possible and eliminate the unpleasant smell.
